It’s taken our sprouts almost nine months to grow and now it’s time to harvest them for the Christmas table.

When they started off as tiny seedlings we did wonder if we’d planted the wrong thing – how was such a little plant going to grow into the impressive stalks we’d seen elsewhere?

Well, they turned out to be quite big and healthy and come Christmas eve it was off to the allotment to gather them, along with nice cauliflower and Celeriac.
